About
Berk Demirbilek
...covering: development, project management, and reliability.
The career began where reliability is non-negotiable: qualifying electronic assemblies for Earth observation satellites at TÜBİTAK, Türkiye’s national research council. Components that must survive launch loads, thermal vacuum cycling, and years of unattended operation in orbit — tested to MIL-STD-810 and ECSS space qualification standards.
That foundation shaped everything that followed. Fifteen years of diesel powertrain development — starting at Ford Otosan in Kocaeli, then managing parallel Renault programmes at FEV Europe across teams in Germany, France, China, and Romania, and extending into heavy-duty applications at AVL and Deutz. The scope grew from single-component calibration to full programme ownership covering aftertreatment, OBD, and homologation.
One lesson emerged across every station: the most successful projects were not the ones with the best engineers — they were the ones with the clearest structure. That conviction led to the IPMA® Level C certification.
Today, the focus spans automotive, defense, energy, and maritime — with the same principle that started in a satellite test lab: engineer it right, manage it tight.
